🧩 Grammar القواعد

We use the imperative to give instructions and advice. Start with the verb, with no subject:

✅ Give your cat water. Clean the bowl. Walk your dog.

To say no (prohibition), use Don’t + verb:

❌ Don’t hit your pet. Don’t give it chocolate. Don’t pull its tail.

Add please to be polite: Please, close the door.

نستعمل صيغة الأمر لإعطاء التعليمات: نبدأ بالفعل مباشرة دون فاعل (Give water). وللنهي نستعمل Don’t + الفعل (Don’t hit).

How to look after a rabbit
Give your rabbit carrots and fresh salad every day. Give it clean water twice a day. Clean its cage every Saturday. Play with it in the garden, but watch it carefully. Don’t give it chocolate or sweets. Don’t pull its ears and never hit it. If your rabbit is sick, take it to the vet. Love your pet and it will love you too!
